The best and closest ski resort in metropolitan area Located near Seoul, Konjiam Resort is the largest Ski Resort in the Capital Area with 11 slopes of varying levels, 5 super-speed ski lifts, and superior facilities than rival the resorts in the Gangwon provinces. Capacity limits number of skiers and snowboarders to 7,000 at any given time Konjiam Resort implements a capacity limit for the safety and comfort of our visitors, and to guarantee a waiting time of 15 minutes or less. Users can reserve lift tickets online for easier and faster access to the slopes. High-Tech systems for an efficient and comfortable experience You can enjoy skiing and snowboarding quickly and comfortably at Konjiam Resorts, where unnecessary waiting times have been minimized. The latest in snow removal technology and removal workers with more than 20 years of experience maintain the quality of snow pristine, so that skiers can ride at optimal conditions. The snow is enhanced with the weather, terrain, slope conditions, and other elements in mind so that you can enjoy riding safety at any time.

Itinerary

0630 – Show-Time at Outdoor Recreation, Bldg 1304 to sign Hold Harmless Waiver

0700 – Depart Outdoor Recreation

~0800 – Stop at Rest Area for 30 minutes

0830~0900 – Arrive at Konjiam Resort (get your gear on and be ready to go)

~0915 – Distribute Lift Tickets (good for all lifts)

0915-1600 – Free time for Skiing and Snowboarding (buses will remain in bus parking lot)

 1200-1300 – Bus will be open for lunch

1600-1620 – Load equipment back on the bus and prepare for departure back to Base

1630 – Depart Konjiam Resort back to Base

(buses will leave with or without you, DON’T BE LATE)

~1730 – Stop at Rest Area for 30 minutes

~1900 – Arrive back at Outdoor Recreation

Very Important Things You Must Know

  • Tour bus departs in front of ODR, building 1304 at 0700. Please be there 15-20 minutes prior to departure time.
  • *When you sign up ODR ski trip, you get $5.00 off for Ski or snowboard set.
  • Need to Bring: Ski or Snowboard equipment, Hat and sunglasses or goggles, Wind/water proof jacket and pants, Warm clothes, Gloves, Sunscreen, Snack/Lunch or you can buy lunch there (meal prices range from W7,500 –W15,000), Won for meals or snacks at the Rest Area, Camera and Change of clothes.
  • Dangers: Icy and bare spots, Cold Weather, Possibly Snowing, Steep drop-offs, Fencing along ski courses, Possible injury, seriously hurt, or death may occur, Out of control skiers/snowboarders

All cancellations must be made by close of business 3 days prior to trip
