Are you ready to swim, bike, and run for Osan’s Summer Triathlon Series? There are three triathlon races to look out for — one in July, one in August, and one in September!
Challenge yourself to complete one set of races or all of them!
Race #1 — July 23: 250 meter swim / 6 mile bike / 1.5 mile run
Race #2 — August 29: 500 meter swim / 12 mile bike / 3.1 mile run
Race #3 — September 26: 1.5 mile run / 18 mile bike / 3.1 mile run
Cost & Details
$20 for 1 Race Set
$50 for All 3 Race Sets
Registration required two-weeks in advance prior to each race set.
Pay at the Fitness Center front desk, Bldg. 1423.
Open to DoD ID holders and for ages 16 years and older.

A Triathlon Training Camp is being offered so that beginners can prepare for the races. Though Round 1 of Tri Camp is already in progress, Round 2 is starting 1730 on July 23 at the Osan Fitness Center! Tri Camp meets weekly for 6 weeks and covers ALL the basics of each discipline. Camp participants get to do a mini triathlon on their last day to ensure they are prepared and confident!
Tri Camp Details
- Meets weekly on Thursday evenings
- Coach Lynn will teach basics of each discipline and lead a workout
- Classes are geared toward beginners, but all levels are welcome
- Ready to race the Osan Sprint Tri on 29 August!!

- July 23, 1730-1900: Equipment & TRI basics
- July 30, 1700 – 1830: Swim
- August 6, 1730-1900: Bike
- August 13, 1730 – 1900: Run
- August 20, 1730-1900: Transitions
- August 27, 1730-1900: Fueling & Mini-Tri
Tri Camp Cost & Registration
- $150 per person for all 6 classes

Meet Our Trainer: Lynn Mattix
Athletics and Fitness Association of America (AFAA) Certified Personal Trainer and Triathlon Coach
Lynn is a certified Group & Personal Fitness Instructor and Running Coach. She loves helping people push out of their comfort zone and embrace fitness as a way of living. She has been teaching and coaching for 10 years.
She was the 2015 Guam National Triathlon Champion, 5th overall female at Conquer the Wall Adventure Marathon and is currently an Ironman All World Athlete. Lynn is an Air Force veteran, military spouse, and mom of two budding endurance athletes.
